Set amid six hectares of olive-dotted countryside just outside Cisternino, Villa Cisterna epitomises Apulian bliss elevated to an art form: two heated infinity pools, stone gazebos for long, festive meals, a functional kitchen where wonderful food is prepared, and eleven relaxing suites that can accommodate up to 22 people. The view stretches to the Val d'Itria; days pass quietly between lounging by the pool, wood-fired pizza evenings and conversations under the stars.

Important notes on services (Camisa updates): breakfast prepared by a private chef is not included; instead, you will find a welcome basket on the first day with local products and daily breakfast table service (food not included). Concierge service is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (outside these hours, only in case of emergency). Pool heating is free of charge and is maintained from May to October at approximately +2-3 °C above the ambient temperature. The open-air cinema (on request) is an additional service. Pets on request: €35 per pet per night + €500 for final cleaning. Bed configuration: double beds cannot be separated, except in one room (twin beds on request) in the main building.
Outdoors — entertainment in the Apulian style
Two heated infinity pools anchor outdoor life, flanked by sun terraces that capture the sun from early morning until golden hour. The gardens appear both sculpted and natural: sage, thyme and rosemary in the herb beds; shade from umbrella pines; lawns that invite children to play. Two stone gazebos are perfect for outdoor activities: one is equipped with a barbecue and wood-fired oven, the other is ideal for leisurely lunches, while the circular dining table (seating up to 17 people) turns every evening into an event.
Between swims and siestas, the estate encourages light activities: a fitness corner, a children's play area (for exclusive use, not accessible to outside guests) and a space reserved for massages or yoga. At harvest time, the organic garden offers the flavours that define this place.
Note on padel: the estate's padel courts are not available to guests (or subject to explicit prior confirmation when available). We will inform you on a case-by-case basis before your arrival.
Interiors — contemporary comfort, Apulian soul
The main pavilion is an example of modern Apulian style: light, volume and views. Large bay windows invite the garden inside; the materials are authentic (stone, whitewashed walls, wood), while the specifications are undeniably contemporary. The professional kitchen is fully equipped (induction hobs, American fridge/freezer, espresso machine, professional kitchen utensils). The adjacent dining room opens naturally onto the terraces, allowing for both plated dinners and family-style meals.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Eleven quiet, well-proportioned bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. The linens are hotel quality; there is generous storage space; smart TVs and blackout curtains make it easy to sleep.
Layout: 10 double bedrooms with non-separable beds, plus 1 bedroom that can be converted into a twin bedroom (in the central section), available on request.
Master suite (~41 m²): bathtub, dressing room, wide view of the garden.
Bathrooms (13 in total): distinctive stone finishes; powerful showers; complimentary toiletries replenished by housekeeping.
Air conditioning, powerful Wi-Fi and thoughtful lighting complete this picture of understated luxury: comfort that fades into the background to make way for the landscape.
Services by Camisa Essential — smooth, discreet, efficient
Upon arrival, you will find the beds made, the fridges stocked and a welcome breakfast basket for the first day. After that, our concierge team is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (and for genuine emergencies outside these hours), taking care of everything so you can enjoy your stay to the fullest: restaurant reservations, winery tours, chauffeurs, wellness in the villa, and even a last-minute birthday cake. The daily housekeeping service keeps the common areas and bathrooms in perfect condition; pool maintenance is scheduled early in the morning when everything is quiet.
Cooking and meals
Prefer not to cook? We can provide private chefs for full service or occasional dinners, pizza nights with a wood-fired oven, barbecues under the pine trees, and tasting menus accompanied by Apulian wines. Breakfast prepared by a private chef is not included (see note above), but we take care of the shopping and setting/clearing the table each morning so that everyone can start the day smoothly.
Wellness and leisure
Choose between a therapeutic or sports massage in the garden pavilion, sunrise yoga or a personalised workout tailored to the fitness area. Children have a private playground on the estate; activities suitable for teenagers, such as electric bike rides in the countryside or SUP sessions on nearby beaches, can be easily arranged. (An open-air cinema evening can be arranged at an additional cost, with a screen, projector and lounge, weather and local regulations permitting).
Practical and policy aspects (what you need to know before booking)
Pool heating: included at no extra cost from May to October, maintained at +2-3°C above ambient temperature; during colder months, the effect is limited by the outside temperature.
Concierge opening hours: 08:00-20:00 daily; outside opening hours for emergencies.
Breakfast: welcome basket on the first day + table setting and clearing every day; food and chef's services outside of this are charged extra.
Pets: on request, €35 per pet per night + €500 for final cleaning; rules apply to protect finishes and gardens.
Padel: not accessible to guests, unless explicitly confirmed in writing before arrival.
Children's playground: exclusive use by residents; not accessible to outside guests.
Location and access
The property is a few minutes' drive from Cisternino and the white villages of the Val d'Itria — Ostuni, Locorotondo, Martina Franca — with beaches easily accessible for a day trip. The nearest airports are Brindisi and Bari; we will advise you on the best route and find you a driver if you prefer not to hire a car.
Rates and conditions
Weekly rate: €56,000
Deposit: €5,000 (pre-authorised or by bank transfer)
Payment schedule: 50% upon booking; balance 60 days prior to arrival
Included: housekeeping service; pool maintenance; concierge hours as indicated above; welcome basket on the first day; breakfast table setting and clearing; utilities (reasonable use)
